Apple & Cinamon Porridge

Porridge is a great breakfast for people wanting to lose weight. This is because it can help you feel fuller for longer meaning you are less likely to snack!

This porridge recipe is a great start to the day especially during dark winter mornings. Also, it only takes around 6 minutes to prepare.

Apple and Cinammon Porridge


60g oats 1 apple, grated 10g raisins 10 almonds 1tsp cinnamon 10g walnuts 1cup / 250ml of water or milk


Step 1. Begin by placing the milk or water with the grated apple and oats into a pan. Place on a low to medium heat and bring to the boil Step 2. Simmer until nearly all of the milk has been absorbed by the oats, and then add the walnuts, almonds, cinnamon and raisins and stir through until evenly heated Step 3. Serve and enjoy To add more flavour, you can grate the rind of an orange over the top when served
